É-MA-HO

How wondrous. ༔

ཕྱི་སྣོད་དག་པ་ཟངས་མདོག་དཔལ་རིའི་ཞིང་༔

CH’I-NÖ DAK-PA ZANG-DOK PEL-RI’I ZHING

The outer universe purified, the Pure Land of the Glorious Copper Colored Mountain, ༔

ནང་བཅུད་རྫོགས་པ་རིག་འཛིན་མཁའ་འགྲོའི་ཚོགས༔

NANG-CHÜ DZOK-PA RIK-DZIN KHAN-DRO’I TS’OK

Its inner inhabitants perfected, the assembly of Vidyādharas and Ḍākinīs, ༔

སྒྲ་གྲགས་སྨིན་པ་བཛྲ་གུ་རུའི་དབྱངས༔

DRA-DRAK MIN-PA BA-DZRA GU-RU’I YANG

Sound and resonance ripened, the melody of the Vajra Guru [Mantra]: ༔

གང་ཤར་རིག་པ་རང་གྲོལ་ངང་ནས་བཟླས༔

GANG-SHAR RIK-PA RANG-DRÖL NGANG NAY DAY
Recite it within the state of whatever arises [to mind] being naturally liberated as Intrinsic Awareness. ༔

ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་བཛྲ་གུ་རུ་པདྨ་སིདྡྷི་ཧཱུྃ༔

OṂ ĀH HUṂ VAJRA GURU PADMA SIDDHI HUṂ ༔

ཅི་ནུས་མཐར་རང་རིག་བླ་མའི་ངང་ནས་སྤྱོད་ལམ་རྣམ་བཞི་ལ་འཇུག་པར་བྱའོ།

Recite as much as possible. Afterward, one should engage in the four bodily activities (moving, sitting, sleeping, and walking) from within the state of the Guru of Natural Intrinsic Awareness (rang rig bla ma).

ཅེས་པ་འདི་ཡང་རབ་གནས་མེ་བྱའི་སྤྲེལ་ཟླའི་མཁའ་འགྲོ་འདུ་བའི་དུས་ཆེན་ལ་སྙིང་གྲོགས་མཁའ་འགྲོ་རིག་འཛིན་དབྱངས་ཅན་ལྷ་མོས་ཐུགས་དམ་བཞིན་ཤྲཱིཿཨེ་མ་ཧོས་རིག་ཀློང་ལས་ཤར་བ་གབ་སྦས་མེད་པར་ཡིག་རིས་བགྱིས་པར་དགེའོ།།

And so it was that on the great festival for the gathering of Ḍākinīs (mkha’ ‘gro ‘du ba’i dus chen), during the Monkey Month of the Fire Bird Year of the sixty year Tibetan astrological cycle (rab gnas), this was composed in writing thus by Śrī Émaho, in accordance with the heartfelt commitments of his heart-friend, Ḍākinī Rigdzin Yangch’en Lhamo (mkha’ ‘gro rig ‘dzin dbyangs can lha mo); without hiding or concealing anything which arose from within the expanse of Intrinsic Awareness: May it be virtuous.
